As an owner of a FX6 and an A1, I'd disagree with that statement. I much prefer the way AF works on the FX6. Have you had experience with both Sony mirrorless and cinema?
I think Sony's leading the big three pack (Sony, Canon, Panasonic) but everything is much tighter now with mirrorless systems than it used to be (and those are really the main focus because if you take away the FX6 or the R5C/C70, what's left in that mid-tier cinema department...almost nothing and not many are buying a camera over $10K without house money).
All of the mirrorless cameras from every angle are so loaded that's it's difficult to choose a wrong one, especially with systems like Canon's R8 and Panasonic's S5 II closing the gap even more.
