How many canadians are you DVX USER???

I moved to the balmy climate way down south in Minnesota(yes I said south and Minnesota in the same sentence). Born and raised in Canada.

I married a Canadian, and my daughter was born there so she is Canadian too! I've contemplated moving there for the free health care, more reasonable housing prices, and all around niceness of the people, but man, those winters are brutal. Minus 40 for weeks on end!

Not to mention to brutal bus murders. I'm not Canadian, by the way.

Obligatory post.

Yeah Gordon Lightfoot and Gordon Pinsent, who both have refused to move.

Yeah 'Goin' down the road.' Ya know, the guy in Porkys and Apoccalypse Now.

Yeah, Donald Sutherland when he use to live and act in 'Moe-re-all'.
I saw that film, dammit.

I'm hitting the tailgate of a twelve pack.
Is it noticeable yet?

i'm a born Canadian but I've lived in the US most of my life with a green card. I might become a citizen soon when most of my family applies for citizenship. It makes me kinda sad. I miss Canada.

There's no money here, never was and never will be, not for the arts.
Maybe come back at retirement time if you want. Some of the american actors have homes here in the local county and go fishing and what not.

Speaking of which, you guys have some great beer up there.

BS. The Dutch, English and Germans, oookay. Europeans kick our ass on beer.
I drink beer brewed in Denmark , by Royal Unibrew...

Liquour, it's Ice Vodka from Newfoundland or imported Russian.
Candian beer? Sorry, it's a myth.

Tequila? I know real mexican tequlia. I lived there for a few months at least.
The stuff they sell here, in shitsville, is 'not' even close.

Yep, Canadian beer being great is a myth. It's all BS my friend.
It'll make you sicker than a dog in the morning. All BS.

Canadian beer is not a myth. Molson Canadian is over rated. But really? Steam Whistle, Sleemans, Labbat anything, Kokanee...The list goes on, so myth my butt. I should also mention, for those of you interested, that B.C has some of the best "plant life" the world has ever known.

I live in Northern, Ontario. The heart of Gold country and home of Shania Twain. Hard rock mining is the culture, which I have grown to accept but still need to leave. We have almost a 100 degree celsius difference from coldest day to hottest. In the summer it get as hot as +40 with the humidity and in the winter it can go down to -60 with the windchill, on those days diesel fuel turns to gel, you are frostbit in minutes and its generally a great day for a bbq.

I should also mention that our healthcare isn't in fact free, but since we in Canada are far less afraid of those damn commies, we had great people like Tommy Douglas come forward and say, hey wait a minute, if we want are country to be great, why don't we work together for the greater good of everyone... hurray socialism, sadly we are in the grips of a conservative leader who would want nothing more then for the rich to get richer and poor to get sicker because they cant afford health care.

So yes, I am Canadian.
