how does 7D handle complex motion?

As a current Panasonic GH13 owner, I'm about to buy the Canon 7D for low light work, but I would also like to know how the 7D's codec handles complex motion like running water, tree leaves blowing in the wind, fast movement etc.

Thanks very much in advance,

- Nick

I took my 7D down a water slide straight to under the pool, then onto beach water, then shot scuba divers under the sea, fountains, water fixtures and palm trees in this vid.

Teddy, you never cease to be awesome.

What underwater housing did you use for your 7D? I've been looking into one for scuba diving.

Nice feet, by the way!

Thanks, that slide shot -I liked it so much i decided to "TAKE THREE!!" LOL!.

I just used a cheap dicapac. Rated "they say" up to 10 meters. Havent tried it yet that deep tho.

By the way jscott, I might drop by in the coming months... :-) my wife works at presby.

You can get a refurbished 7D for cheap from canon's customer loyalty program if you trade in a dead canon digital camera. Google canon customer loyalty 7D for more info.

You don't want to wait for a gh-2? Maybe you should get some fast lenses that will fit both like some f1.4 nikkors or zeiss...?
