How Do I set up a Live Webcast?

I got a call for a videographer job that would require filming a focus group and having that live webcasting. He says he has all the necessary website stuff but would want me to competant at setting it up from the camera end.

I swear every job has a hitch.
 
search for "webcast" and you should get some good results.

The easiest way is liek this:
Camera -> Firewire -> PC Laptop running Windows Media Encoder (free from windowsmedia.com) -> Delivery, either directly or via a windwos media server.

However there are some variables:
How many views will there be? Who sort of connection does teh venue have? What *esactly* does the client have for the "website stuff"? Just one camera I prsume, or will it be multicamera?
