I've only shot about 1/3 at best. If I'm lucky.

The CC and cropping down to 2:35:1 is coming along nicely though.

Cool! How would say the storyboarding has been helping your creative process? Do you feel this has saved time in production? Thanks, very interested seeng how they are helping u and if it's been worth the time in your opinion?.

Actually, as of yet they haven't helped at all. I didn't have any for the opening sequence and that's what the screen grabs are from.

The storyboards I posted are for the midway point. I'll let you know if I use them.
That could change as well since I may have to find a new location.

I would bet that they would be useful though. Especially in a large production.

wow mike, this looks really cool. the set, the costume, the cc - i'm loving it.
can you tell me abut your 2:35 crop? i was planning on doing that as well, but i always
compose for 16:9 and then it looks like crap when i try to go 2:35.

are you just adding the black bars and then readjusting the footage?

also, what are you thinking of score-wise?

When I shoot I think about losing some of the image at the top and bottom so I try to keep that in mind when framing each shot.
In post I add the black bars (crop) so I can see how it looks. I'll move the odd shot up or down in post if I think it needs it.
Finally, when I'm exporting and finally converting with QT Pro I put in the dimensions for 2:35:1 and set it to crop the image. That removes the black bars entirely.

Not sure about the score yet. That will be up to the composer.

Not sure about this one as it is always locked up by a small gate. It's very tempting as it would be extremely easy to hop over it. :)

You're letting a knee high fence stop you? Jeez man, get on with it already!;) j/k, we had to steal some locations too, I know it can be nerve wracking, especially with all those windows looking over you.
