hoodeye

I have this hoodman loupe and i love it. It doesn't block any of the buttons. I use a a system from iDC for mounting it and my follow focus from them

It works great except it lets a bit of light leak in the right side. I am thinking about getting the hoodmag 3.0 to solve that problem. Combine it with a nice soft eye cup pad and i will be in business.

The buttons are all easily accessible but it does block the face sensor that's right below the normal eye piece (when your in movie mode this doesn't matter and if you have the piece attached I'm assuming your either in live view or movie.)

I use one on a t2i and it doesn't affect the buttons at all. The plastic does get quite close to the buttons, so if you got stubby fingers it may present a problem, but I haven't been hindered thus far.

It's cheap and it does its job. No complaints.

i would definitely recommend the LCDVF over the hoodman. No buttons are covered nor do they lose their function with either.

As a current Hoodeve user who got to use a LCDVF, I'd highly recommend the LCDVF over the hoodeye, unless you have no problem doing fine focusing without magnification

So you say you have one like on my link ? ,i dont understand the difference with LCDFs, do you use a cinema strap for fixing to the body.
