End of Fall

I was shooting a project today. This is the first time I've used a DVX & Letus rig. I bought this off ebay 2 weeks ago for a really good price.
I looked over the DVX Book last week, took me 3 days to read. I figured I had a general idea of what I was doing.
How ever I thought wrong, I spent four hours today doing the interviews and a little B-Roll.
The footage in the view finder looked perfect, how ever when I got home the color of the footage changed, its not rich / sharp looking. Its very flat and the colors are off a bit.
The second issue aside from the color of the B-Roll the color in the camera seems to look good. I import it into the laptop and I'm looking at the color and my face is orange, the background is yellowish / green thats more a lime green. It didn't look like that in my view finder.
When I shot in doors the footage looked perfect, skin color was good, the blue gels I used looked good. How ever the imported footage has no skin color tones, the blue gels are gone and the color just doesn't look as rich as what I seen in the view finder. The grain level is very strong not like it was in the view finder.
How ever the worst issue I am having is the Shotgun mic mounted onto the camera doesn't seem to have picked up my audio. I had it in the open slot 1, the XLR was in and I figured it was good. How ever the assistant behind me asking the questions are nice and sharp compared to the interviewee. That being the audio was a total waste!
What can I do, I'll post my specs that I filmed in and I'll let you tell me what I did wrong.
I shot mainly with a 105 for the interviews, the 28 for the B-Roll along side of the 50 for some shots. I need help for a up coming shoot on Tuesday!!!
