Help with P2 viewer

I have the just purchased the P2 viewer but waiting for the download details, so in the mean time I am trying to use the Demo of the viewer.

Currently I am getting no picture just sound. I have a thumbnail for the clip but no picture when I try to view it. I am running it on a Mac, but do not have FCP on it. I had a look at the troubleshooting for the viewer and it mentioned I needed the DVC ProHD component installed which I now have but problem not solved.

Any ideas gratefully recieved.

FCP installs that codec.

I assume you are referring to p2 Log from Imagine Products.

Have you run the P2 Log with a system that has FCP 5.0.4 installed?
 
Also make sure your P2Log TEMP folder is full access. We've had a few folks somehow manage to make it READ only which prevents the temp files from being created for video playback.
 
Is there a reason you have chosen to put the TEMP folder in the application directory?
Wouldn't it fit more in Library/application support/P2 Log?
