Help please, installer for imagine products Shotput

Can anyone please help me out with an installer for the original shotput (not PRO)? Our laptop with the program was sold and I no longer have the installer.

Believe it or not, Imagine products will not supply me with an installer, insisting instead that I pay for the upgrade to PRO. Well of course they are. Great company policy, really making me feel warm and fuzzy.

And don't jump all over me and tell me that its only $49.00 for the upgrade. I already own the license for Shotput and we only work with P2, I don't want to be FORCED to purchase an upgrade I don't need.

If anyone can help me out, it would be much appreciated. At least I can then find out if I can activate my license - a question which Imagine wouldn't answer.

Scratch that request.

Because I didn't de-activate the software I can't use the license and Imagine products are not going to do anything at their end to help.

Something to be aware of if you are thinking about buying their products, I have basically bought something which was EOL'd within 6 months, i own the license but they won't supply the installer and they won't deactivate the software for me so that I can activate it again even if I find an installer.

I am, to put it mildly, unimpressed with the "service" and attitude.

This is unfortunate.

It's getting a little silly about the whole activation process. Half the time I forget when reinstalling the OS, etc.

But if someone makes a mistake, it would seem that you get one free bite at correcting it.

Why doesn't IP simply deactivate your current serialization and issue a new one?

To be honest, its total BS.

They are only interested in me buying the upgrade to PRO, despite having handed over my money for the original software. They could deactivate the licence I am sure but since they are not going to give me an installer for the software, there's little point in pushing that point.

I'll be staying away from them in future, my experience as a customer and my opinions of their release and 'pro' upgrade paths are not good.
