I've read so much about the lugs breaking off and etc. My lugs have a little play action but seems to be good. But I'm not going to use them. I think I'm going to get a 'black rapid strap' that hooks onto bottom of camera tripod mount when not on tripod.
Has anyone have any experiences with this strap?

Also, getting a 'hoodman LCD cover' to cover LCD in daylight.

Anyone have recommendation on shoulder mounts?

I am in love with my indiRAILSpro DSLR sm it works with all my camera. The best part is the handles don't feel to close together like the set on my old cavision did I would cramp up after a few hours of shooting, on the indie system I shoot all day. And the price is manageable on an freelancers budget.

Not a fan of the shoulder mount part of the rig...it doesn't really seem to support any weight. Not huge on the build design either, I don't like that it's bolts screwing brute force into metal...but I do use it a fair amount and it works. I mainly use it in a 2 handle configuration with the handles flipped up and just on a normal cross bar, not the weird trombone things, or with the handles flipped down and my shoulder on the back part of the rails, or the camera tucked into my chest.
