So I've been sick for about 4 years now. Constant muscle and joint pains, lethargy, intense acid reflux and an inability to breathe normally as well as a chronic post nasal drip. In conjunction with that I put on 120 pounds despite working out daily; clammy skin, sweating, and slowly my skin began to change -- random acne and then finally rosascea.
After hundreds of blood and allergy tests and going through tons of different doctors (including psycho therapy for potential stress-related illness), my wife finally found a guy who also put me through all the tests (again), but who was very NON antibiotic; he's all about nutrients and the like -- which is SO me, but, ya know, I'm already healthy. I eat healthy and organic; work out, etc.
So after we went through everything; keeping journals, having lengthy discussions, he finally said that my immune system was comprimised. But there was no auto immune business, so what was it?
Turns out that all these years I've had a stomach infection. The rosascea was the thing that gave the final clue, he said. So he put me on two mild antibiotics 3 times per day (taken with a tablespoon of Pepto) and, I mean it's like waking up and being Superman or something. I can't believe I ever felt this way -- that people walk around feeling this way all the time. I was even having trouble seeing at night anymore and now suddenly it's like ZANG! Alert! I think I could probably see through walls if I tried! lol
Anyway, just wanted to share my AMAZINGLY AWESOME good news.
Happy friggin New Year, yes sir.
