HDR timelapse

So right now I'm using the DSLR remote software (pc) for my timelapse but I was wondering If there was a way to use the high drive mode on it? So for the HDR timelapse the only thing it does is take 3 pictures at 3 (if i set it to camera) exposures but not successively. Is this supposed to happen?

You need to use an intervalometer, which is a remote control attached to the remote input on the 7D. If you are in bracket mode (which you are) each time the intervalometer goes off (like once every 5 seconds or whatever you set it to) it will take 3 pictures. Canon and other manufacturers make them.

well i thought connecting a laptop with a software like dslr remote works also?
i just cant figure out how to make it take 3 shots per interval

Why do you need it to?
If you set it to take a shot every 10 seconds or whatever, the sky can't have changed THAT much, can it? in 30 seconds I mean? You should still be able to make an HDR from that, and timelaps with an HDR every 30 seconds.

If you do this, would you HDR frame by frame and then import them in your edit software, or do you have a program that can create multiple HDRs at once?
