Who is "they" and what issue needs to be "fixed?"
I know that the cam works with both FCP and iMovie with Perian 1.1.

They is whoever can fix the issue whether it be Apple or Panny. The issue I was referring to is how the original footage would make iMovie and FCP crash immediately upon capture.
At least I believe that was the issue.

You're referring to the avchd/.mts files?
David's system sounds like it works (albeit possibly with some color issues:tongue: ).
What I've been doing is using a converter available from panasonic that transcodes the mts files into P2/mxf files. Not ideal but it works.
But yeah, the native files are problematic with premiere pro and AE too.
I'm sure I'm repeating myself but there are 3-4 threads on this freakin camera right now.
I only hope that the HMC150 coming out isn't the only 'prosumer' camera that uses this format in the near future. Might light a fire under the collective NLE ass. I can't afford to buy things like Edius when I only need it for a one trick pony.
There are workarounds. If this camera really appeals to you, there are certainly options...... There are also other small cameras to choose from.

I know, I wish we could consolidate them or just keep it to one thread now.
My GS150 is broken again and I'll see if Circuit City will up it to the SD9. I'll take a look at the workflow once I have my hands on the camera.
I have FCP 6.0.2 and QT 7.3.1. With Perian 1.1 - 1.1 installed, no crashes.
