Has anyone heard of this site?

My opinion is to stay the F as FAR away from that url as possible. Even though i would love to buy their Nikon D3 for $2400

There are numerous Brooklyn, NY-based 'camera shops' that are nothing more than fronts for God-knows-what, offering the latest and greatest at unrealistic prices. Some of them have migrated to eBay, so beware! They will bill your CC and say the camera is out of stock, or ship you grey market, stolen, or broken or incomplete camera components. It's bad news and many of these shops have been in business for years, yet Elliot Spitzer has never done anything about these brick & mortar scammers. It's one of the paradoxes. Consumer electronics is one of the most fraud-prone fields in the world of marketing. Buyer beware!

I think I actually tried to order the Sony Z1 back about a year ago when the price was about $5,000 and they advertised it for $1,000 on their website. So I ordered two. They called to confirm my order and the guy told me that do I need to order the lens because the camera does come with a lens. And I told him that as far I know the Z1 does not have interchangeble lens so why do I need to order a separate lens. Well, he hung up on me. I waited about two months or so later and called them about my order (and after being transferred around) one guy told me that it was back order. I never called them back.

Good thing they did not charge my credit card. I did watch my credit card for addition 3 months just to make sure.

You have to wonder where all these returned EX1's are going to wind up. They'll reenter the market as "B stock" merchandise, but I'm willing to bet that these online scammers will try to pass them off as new gear.
