Id probably build a better menu and ui system. Re arrange the functiona to have aps-c and the record button.
Thank you.Dahr, I've got a buddy with an a7r2, I'll see if I can get him to do this. But hopefully someone else on this forum that has one can get it to you quicker.
dahr great news!!!!
thanks for this...
As a likely much more achievable business opportunity that is capable of benefiting not just A7S owners, but the entire A7x ecosystem, this is where I would focus my attention, were I to have the necessary coding chops (which I don't).
I've been using my A7s for a long time now. What's wrong with the menu?
Actually, I and no one I've worked with feel this way. Are the menus perfect? No. But they aren't particularly worse than any other camera of its kind. I'd even argue that they make sense the more you use it. What I'd love to see is removal of the 30min limit and disable of the skin smoothing bug.No disrespect intended, but of the hundreds (if not thousands) of A7 owners I have interacted with, you are the only person I know who does not find the menu system to be illogical, inefficient and infuriating. However, if the system's menu cannot be remapped by anyone other than Sony, then my suggestion is a moot point anyway.Again, no disrespect intended.
I don't think they are absolutely horrible, but they could be a lot better. Right now it seems items were dropped on a tab based on what was available at each point in time, and remained there forever. If I want to find face detection, the only option is to browse through all the tabs till I find it somewhere.Actually, I and no one I've worked with feel this way. Are the menus perfect?
