Hey guys. Sometime I visited Rome and I took my Hv20 with me. Here are some grabs:

Here's some grabs I exported from the footage I shot with the HV20

Thanks. I have to say I've traveled a lot and Rome was beyond my expectations. It's an incredible place of unimaginable beauty. I'll try to post some more grabs later. And maybe some footage.

I'm getting the feeling the grabs are coming out darker than the footage. When I export some footage I'll post it for comparison.

Amazing stuff! I plan to do some adapter shooting sometime in Rome also!!! Rome is simply unbelievable city!!! i could shoot for months there and it wouldn't be enough!

everytime i go to rome, i never want to come back...

The problem is that we were always on the move and I didn't have time to stop to setup shots like I naturally would...otherwise I would not enjoy the trip...my girlfriend complained I took long enough as it was. I would definitely love to spend some time there to shoot a project.

Absolutely beautiful grabs. That's one of the reasons I want to pick up an HV20 - to travel with. I'm starting to consider it more and more...second camera to my A1, deck for my A1, travel camera.

Gorgeous imagery!

Thanks, Kegan. I travel a lot and I always felt sorry my XH-A1 was too big to take it with me, but with the HV20 that problem is no longer there. It's a great little camera to take to a trip.

Those shots are all nice rawfa, looks like you're costing me 900 bucks too - bcam for my HVX.

Here's some footage. I'm still struggling with compression to be able to upload 720p on vimeo.com. Everything looks way too dark and lacking detail...I really wish there was a way to upload a full quality 1080. This way you would really be able to see how amazing it looks.

I wish I could have spent more time in Rome and I also wish I had a tripod with me.
