Called Casey (Exfilms) and said "Hey! Im shooting a small Zombie scene! My brother and nephew are in it." and he said "Cool!" and showed up 12 hours later. No script just some boards to work off of.
Dumped a bunch of blood on my nephew and my brothers windshield, had a nice laceration on my nephews neck and it was HOT. Good times.
The lighting conditions were brutal with no clouds. Just plain ole hot, miserable heat.
Here are some grabs from todays small shoot. Shot 4:3, Default Scene File 6. Played with them in VEGAS for about 5 seconds, threw on a NON-STANDARD MATTE (Which means these mattes are not 16:9, 2:35 nor 1:85. They were merely thrown on to frame using a media generator) and posted them here.
It's the first in what will hopefully be multiple episodes of a viral outbreak and, yes, the undead. These grabs are not anything to represent a final product but just sharing the days shoot.
That being said? Feel free to comment and I'll keep everyone posted of the Post work (scoring, sound fx, color correction) as well as NEXT SUNDAYS shoot for Day 2.
