Jonh, i'm really impressed,

these grabs look fantastic, great depth and color.
I can't believe it was shot 4:3 and then letterboxed...
looks like it has been shot with the anamorphic adapter.

I was having one of these talks with a buddy the other day. Those movies always turn out the best!

This is some good-looking stuff John, can't wait to see the finished movie!

Glad to see you are out shooting!!!

You kind of threw me... I was all psyched to see lacerations and bloody windshields!!(maybe on the next set of grabs?)

Very nice. Particularily the third frame.

Great idea, love the title! Hope shooting goes well and is FUN!

I didnt want to post anything to 'revealing' up front but just some harmless grabs. After Sunday will be some new grabs (we are going back for Day 2) and I'm working on the '28 Days Later' style make-up effects (something I thought Id never do is learn make-up effects). The next set will have some carnage to a degree and some more interesing comps.

Congrats John! Are you going to tie the episods all together when you are done for a feature? Now there will be no stopping you. Maybe a Zombie version for the monthly DVX contest?

THE 'IDEA' is in the prelim stages right now but thats somethign to consider. I appreciate the feedback and I am aware these are simple grabs and not miracle works. I just wanted to keep the 'boys' in the loop.

Hey John,

Read your wise-crackin' posts for quite a while, but never saw your work until now. That's good stuff!

I've been throwing around many ideas for a zombie short with a friend as well ... glad to know I'm not the only one daydreaming about creative ways to capture blood and lacerations on camera. ;D

Keep it up! Any chance we could see some video soon ... please?

I am the resident wise-cracker I think. Although it gets me in trouble from time to time :D

Dude, I am a Horror junkie (The Thing, Halloween, The Fog, Dawn of the Dead........ Love it)

Ill try and get some video up next week after the 2nd Day of shooting. We have some nice Crane shots and such but I think it might deter from it if it was like "Here is a 4 second crane shot!" LOL

I really would rather post at least a rough esit of the sequence at once (Its just a short; almost a teaser of a bigger idea"
