Random, pointless video.

So I found a nice new pinkish setting on my DVX.

I usualyl go -6 to -10 for the MASTER PED but this time I went crazy.

I went to +6 MASTER PED.

Brought my Chroma Level and Chroma Phase WAY up which I usually leave at 0.

Color temp was at -4.

I felt like KD, so I made some, and I thought I would try out my new settings!

i hate gas stoves, my lights always go out. is that setting soft and dreamy looking to begin with or is that from enlarging it cause it looks soft and dreamy.
 
I added the Soft and Dreamy effect in post. And yes, it is probably double the effect for blowing it up so big.
 
still looks good. if you look real quick at your avatar it looks like you are playing a black violin. just letting you know.

I tried doing the same in premiere pro but it pretty much just makes large, very obvious, oversized pixels.


You outputting an avi and then compressing in QT pro for your final .mov file?


It looks great from a resolution standpoint. I'd really like to be able to emulate this.
 
I think FCP is better for compression in the long run.

I only exported it once, using H.264, (that's why you see those ugly blocks, it wouldn't look like that if I compressed it the way it looks in FCP, it would look much cleaner) and that's it. It turned to be like 60-100 mb I think.
