Hi,

We have changed the dates in the expectation from what it was to 9-12 weeks. There are just too many elements working here to make the "pollyanna" deadline. Sorry for the delays kids but I know everyone has been trying.

Best,

Jan

I do feel treated as a kid... However I still apreciate the wonders that the HVX P2 and yourself have done and will continue doing for us Jan.

I understand, and in turn I wanted to clarify my side of it, since feeling treated as a son comes with being relatively young.
However, I wasn't impatient Jan. I doubt that you can call impatience when someone waits for a $1200 incentive, and expects it within the timeframe stipulated in the purchasing documents.
In my case, this incentive was the reason for investing into an HVX-200 now. Not getting it when it was guaranteed caused me unexpected and somewhat costly problems.

The impatient remark was aimed at my own, I clicked and when it didn't respond quickly enough I clicked again. So since you cannot delete the post I explained why.

I understand why people were upset, and it was equally frustratining n my side but in a different way. So I am glad you have the card, but I anticipate there will be another group that will be coming along that will be complaing about not getting theirs soon. ;-)

Best,

Jan

Ya gotta admit, each of us has been through more then we should to get our "rebate". But I REALLY feel for Jan having to deal with almost EVERY "Rebate" complaint. Multiply our frustration by XXXXXX's

Jan, if it wasn't for you Panasonic would have gotten a real ripping here and elsewhere.
Tell your boss Ted said to give you a bonus for all your reputation saving efforts. I'm sure your boss will because I said so. :)

I agree, however it is unfair for us (and Jan) that Panasonic will look the other way. I wish they took this problem on as they take on their design and development.

UPS has tried to deliver for the last couple of days... They say it's from Panasonic.....Could it be.....?

yeah. you know after the third try they send it back. and I'm sure you wouldn't want that. :(

You know, this has now happened. I signed the slip and told them the access code to get into the building, only to find ANOTHER slip slapped next to my signed one saying it was the final delivery attempt. Blind delivery person. I mean, really.

But, USLatinContent is right. They hold onto it for 5 days and await you to drive and pick it up. I'm guessing the LA UPS building is located in some godforsaken murderhole area...

really? cause if you go at 3am dressed in black and wearing a ski mask nobody will notice you (not that I did it the other day)
lol

Ok, add me to the 'got' list. Picked it up. All is well. :) Pretty dodgy area, but not as bad as my fevered imagination made it out to be.

UsLatin, I think I can manage dressed in black, but being awake at 3am isn't something I can do anymore.

;)

HA HA!!

we all have our limitations
I for one can't manage to wke up before noon
last night I was learning about overclocking up untill 7:30ish, lol

Nice Latin. you and me both are night owls it seems. I always seem to stay up til the wee hours of the night. (or rather morning) now this camera seems to be the current excuse for such activities.

I just got an email from Veronica yesterday, 2/26/07...I quote: "It takes about 9 to 12 weeks before both book and P2 card are shipped. UPS Ground from Memphis."

: (

Bummer.
