I was so surprised to receive everything so quickly that I just sat and stared inside that shipping envelope for a minute not believing what I was seeing - lol. I thought for sure I was in for at least a 7 week wait.

I did include a self addressed stamped envelope when I sent in the original invoice so I could get the orig invoice back - haven't heard anything about that yet. I do hope they make a copy and send me back the orig invoice. I made copies of it before I sent it in just in case.

The book is great and I'm off to test out the HD. Barry's book relaxed me a bit regarding all the settings - well worth it!

Color me stupid, but Jasmine was a doll and got me going.
 
Got mine today! Good news because we're about to move onto lots of location shooting, so having two 8GB cards will be such a relief...
 
Just got mine this afternoon. Date requested is 11/23/06, process date is 12/08/06. From the process date, it is around 6 weeks. But if counted from date requested, it took almost 2 months.

Never received paperwork requesting proof of purchase...Very happy cause I flying out at 5am to go to Cali...definitely need the second card.

Yea, thanks... But I wish I would have called it "8G P2 & Barry Book delivery time" it would have made more sense. More importantly, I believe that it will expire soon, when I made it they had just recently added time to the promo, and I didn't know about it yet. Unfortunately, many additional rebates will still be in fulfillment status when it disappears...

Barry if you see this, do you think you could add time to the poll? Maybe even make it a sticky until two-three months from the last day of the promo?
 
FYI - I just spoke to the people at Panasonic's rebate. They told me the status of my account was "Set to ship this week." Last week when I spoke to them they had informed me that they were out of stock, so it appears that issue has been solved.

I'm flying out of the country for a documentary next Tuesday, lets hope I get it by then. Good luck to all with this mission of a rebate.
 
Ok... so I sent a strongly worded e-mail to Veronica after she said that the invoice I mailed her was misplaced (not her working) and to fax her one, and guess what?
A day or two later I got an e-mail from her saying that the card was shipping 2/15 from Menphis...

so I just voted... and it was longer... ouch!


also, just replied to a Michelle Henry who e-mailed me... apparently this would be the second employee of the whole department (as far a sI know)
 
My card is in Vernon, CA... I could get there in 30min. just have to figure out how to break into the UPS warehouse...
