Some nice info and advice here and good to see Canon making some effort to get some videos out about Cinema Raw Light.
It's good information in the video.
But for people reading the Cinema EOS forum, it's stuff we already know: import into Resolve and you're golden—with .crm being interpreted into Cinema Gamut and Canon Log 2. From there you can go anywhere you like.
But there is really no need to do anything other than that. And since Resolve is available for MacOS, Linux and Windows for free, or only $299 for the Studio version, I don't think there is much else to say.
Isn't that the same as FCP X 10.4 too?

Yes, and as a Mac-user myself I'd be happy to recommend FCPX to anyone who'd like to go in that direction. But since Resolve is available to anyone, just as cheap and even more powerful when it comes to get the most out of raw footage, I used that as an example.
Silly question but I can not find the WideDR preset? All I see are clog, clog3 and BT.709.
He makes it hard.
Im assuming the editor is not me, and may not be able to play back crm
I just felt that video would push many away from considering raw.
On 2017 maxed out iMac in FCPX, RAW feels like mp4, we just need at least white balance options..
