Gibby's ENG love

Yeah, I got it before.
Opinion stays the same concerning tv-companies, though

Ok, so first it was : RED a revolution for all! no no wait...
RED a revolution for most! no no hold on...
RED a revolution for some and even for those who don't want it! uhhh
RED a revolution for the tiny few! Yes!

Amazing how it has all come full circle.

omen don't mix up the things.. as it was posted, EFP isn't the same than ENG.. we want a handheld tool.. a light set up.. not another 35mm camera.

I don't know if it was competitive with an Arri 235 I wouldn't mind it being "another 35mm camera".

I changed my mind.
Now I want everyone to have a RED. That way we'll see the differences in creativity.

Another ingenious "reality" show or nightly news about politics will just make me change the channel.

Plugins will do the rest.

My statement above yours is in reference to those who feel that content production belongs only to the very few. The swill you are talking about is being produced by huge multi-national film, tv and news corps to the broadest, lowest, common denominater so as to appeal to all (and be liked by none).

I don't think that the people here on this forum would get so excited about spending serious cash on gear so they can go out and make crap. This is a tool that alot of people have been waiting for all their professional careers to produce something of a very personal and unique nature and to be able to bring serious craft to their project. You are right the RED levels things. These are heady times.

ps. hey omen, I spent part of my summer in '95 in Split, Croatia. The most beautiful women and architecture...

My thought wasn't ment for the people on this forum.
It was for the cold large machineries and stupid projects in large tv companies. I judge that most of the people here will know what to do with RED, and they will love doing it. I respect that and that's the beautiful part.

p.s.
glad you liked it....If you liked it then - you would love it now

welcome...so many sights for 4k
:)

Hey omen, I knew what you meant, I just went on a bit on what we are up against as a whole. :-)

Gavin
the beef is to get a small camcorder with the 35mm quality and not only a 35mm camera..
