GH4 GH5 Stock Alert

Ordered mine this morning from B&H and will have it tomorrow morning. Looks like they are out of stock now. Snooze, lose.

You're welcome. You should receive confirmation tonight sometime, maybe your order info is updated with that info on their site.

I received my tracking info through email, but I asked them to send it to me.

Spoke to Hot Rod Cameras at 2pm PST, & the GH5(s) had just arrived, so headed over. There was a Sigma Cine event going on there today, & it was seemed sort of a Grand Opening of their new, & MUCH larger facility. Numerous DPs attended, including DVXuser's own Charles Papert.

Illya's put a lot of resources into expanding Hot Rod Cameras' repertoire, so expect more good things coming from them soon. He's also helped guide Panasonic's hand in developing cameras ranging from the current Varicams to the GH series, & being tight with Panasonic enables them to expedite any repairs they cannot handle in-house.

Hot Rod Cameras' provides the same great support whether your a new customer looking for a HDMI cable, or a ASC veteran buying a set of Leica PLs, & in turn they deserve even greater support from the filmmaking community. The only thing holding them back is they're still sort of an insider's secret.

Just got word mine didn't ship out until day from Hot Rod and they say i should have it tomorrow. A tad bummed since I was told that I should have had it by the 30th.

Sorry to hear. I know they've been hustling to get the shop ready, & it seemed a bit crazy over there yesterday due to the Sigma Cine event, & all the customers picking up their GH5s.
 
FedEx shows Thursday delivery from Samy's Camera in LA. It's ugly out here in the NYC metro area so it's not a big deal. I had it pre-ordered from B&H early on Jan 4th but on the 19th B&H sent email saying they will start charging 7% NJ sales tax so that is why I canceled with them. For the money I saved I could get the Lexar 256GB Professional 1000x UHS-II SDXC card.
 
ha, I've spent like $10K in sales tax over the years...New York is simply the worst with it.
 
I ordered the kit with the Audio adapter, Battery Grip, DC Coupler and AC Adapter from B&H. Figured those items would get stocked at the same time. Figured wrong. All B&H will say is they will ship once all of the items are in stock. It's still a good deal, especially since they tossed in a $100 gift card and the bundle is $4 cheaper than buying individually (before factoring in the gift card). Hopefully they restock in the next few weeks. Excited to put this bad boy though it's paces.
