I definitely haven't seen any GH3 footage yet that indicates any improvements over the GH2. Genesis included. It seems clear they will be very similar for image quality unless there is some new firmware that includes some special mode that improves dynamic range beyond what we have seen... Probably going to be holding on to my GH2 which I am always amazed by.
Hard to imagine why there would be moire or line skipping in the GH3 when it is so well controlled in the GH2. That'd be a bit of a disappointment... Even if someone made a 3rd party OLPF for the GH3 to compensate for moire due to bad scaling or line skipping, it would still be functionally inferior to having a camera that just didnt skip and scaled properly from a full/high resolution image to begin with like the GH2 does. Not to mention if such a filter existed, the GH3+OLPF combo would probably cost at least 2-3x as much as a GH2 without necessary any improvement in quality and it would certainly be a pain to have to remove the OLPF every time you wanted to take a still image...
