GH2 vs Canon Pro CMOS

For those of us who are waiting around to buy a GH2, is there any point in waiting for these new Canon Pro CMOS based cams based on the XF100 that supposedly go down to 1.5 Lux, and use larger pixels? The cheapest model with that sensor lists for $650.
"The sensor and bitrate specs on the XA10 are identical to those offered on the aforementioned Vixia HF G10."

I think they will be good cameras, but as opposed to a GH2...they're totally different. I think the two together would make a very nice combination. In fact if they were both on the market right now, I would get them both. GH2 for shallow dof and specialty shots and HF G10 for the main camera. I'm having a hard time waiting it out though, with so many bargains out there. The HFS 200 is only $679...that's crazy cheap for what it can do. That and a GF1 or T2i would be less than $1400. What I find strange when reading a lot of different forums is just how fickle a lot of people are, when it comes to these announcements from Canon. I read things like "No 4k....I don't want it...or AVCHD! no thanks" They're off their rockers IMO. What camera under 2000 bucks shoots 4k or uses anything superior than the best implementation of AVCHD? Nothing. Or has the vast array of options and shooting modes? Only the HMC40.
I think if you wait, you're going to like both cameras a lot, and it looks like you've got some good stuff to shoot on while you do.

Yup--shallow DOF. But the new HF-M400 starts at $650 and is based on this new sensor. Oh well, wait and see some samples....but you are right, it won't do the DOF, although some of the models have some sort of telemacro feature, which allows you to shoot macro with the zoom at 10x, which may be similar.
