GH2 Pre-orders

No problem. Hang in there, they are starting to ship. good thing we can track with reference number instead of being put on hold on the phone for an hour. :thumbsup:
 
Just spoke with Tammy at Provantage, a very nice lady. :-) Anyways, she assured me my order would be arriving in stock on the 23rd and I should have it approx. on the 28th.

She also reduced my price to the new price of $883. for body and beater lens.
 
if you guys see a charge on your account, from what i was told by my bank it's just an authorization charge. not an actual charge. i was charged on the 9th and it was put back in this morning.
 
I tracked by reference # on UPS site and for some reason it says it has been shipped out and received to Yakima, WA. I live in NYC and definitely not Washington. I have also not been charged. I really hope Panasonic has not messed up my shipping and some lucky fella is sitting with a brand new GH2.

On hold with them right now with PD. We'll see how long this takes :)
 
The PD GH2 game continues, they called me again today to tell me my GH2 should ship in the next two days. If this was from one of the low ball camera dealers in Brooklyn NY (Best Price Electronics ) I would have cancelled long ago but since this is the EPP priced GH2 body from PD I will just wait it out.

I think it's a completely different package belongs to someone else. When I tracked my pkg without 000 number in the front I get a different origin and received info. Check the weight it should be around 4 lbs if it's body only. Very likely yours hasn't shipped.
 
The damndest thing happened today.

I ordered a black kit with 14-42 from provantage on November 16th. After the initial round of delays I called back to check, and they said that they had a ship date of 12/13 listed. Today (12/14) I gave them a call to ask what the deal was, as my order was showing up online as still 'in progress' waiting to hear from their supplier. The guy I spoke with emailed me an hour later after checking saying he had an ETA of 12/31. I resigned myself to wait another few weeks but...

I get home from work and there's a GH2 on my doorstep! My online status STILL shows in progress! Who am I to complain though... I guess their first ship date guess was spot on.

edit: they still haven't even charged my credit card! They had a hold for the amount on it for a while but nothing now. Too weird.

What does it mean by that? Panasonic website shows no tracking number.

It says, Your package is on time with a scheduled delivery date of 12/15/2010.

If that info is from the UPS website, it means your camera will probably be delivered tomorrow (on the 15th).
