Did they say when it will shipped? I ordered on 12/1 too and waas told it will ship today but nothing so far.

Saturday isn't a business day. At least not in the US, for most companies.

It should ship on Monday since UPS does not work on Saturday.

In the last 20 years or so I have received Fedex Residential Ground deliveries many times on Saturday but not once did I get a UPS Ground delivery on Saturday. Fedex Residential Ground does not deliver on Monday here in my local area ( Somerset County NJ).
That is probably because it costs a lot more for a Saturday delivery, so most don't do it but they are available. I was at the UPS Store yesterday and there was a UPS truck there with the driver dropping off and picking up packages.

Just got off the phone with Provantage to check the status of my Nov. 17th order and they told me that the shipment they were getting got pushed back to Dec. 29th - Jan 15th..............I wonder if the orders that were placed through Panasonic will actually make it in the next few days.
When the GF1 was released Panasonic shipped the cameras 1 week before everyone else in the US. Amazon thought they were getting the cameras on a Friday. They told everyone that it was going to be 1 month before they actually got them in so everyone canceled their orders and switched to Panasonic direct which was completely back-orderd by that time.
2 days later Amazon and several other US retailers shipped their cameras way earlier than they were telling people they would ship. The retailers are just telling people that it will be a month or more now because they don’t want any more phone calls. They have already sold every camera they are going to get so they just tell you 1 month to keep you from calling again.
The cameras will ship this week from Amazon and a few other retailers.
I just checked with Panasonic and they told me the following:
There are different warehouses for different parts of the country.
Some are faster than others processing orders
Some warehouses still have the GH2 in stock
New stock is due on 12/7
The problem is I don’t really trust what they say.

Beat you - 1 hr 11 min on hold. I ordered on Dec 1, and there is still no info available about shipping on their web site or from the rep I (finally) talked with. There are "some" in the warehouses. And they will email and also call to verify I actually placed the order they are about to send - whenever they send it.
I did, I emailed them (Panasonic Direct) asking for a tracking # and they called me back and said that it's waiting to be picked up by the carrier. That was last friday, the 3rd, so who knows, it might show up this week. I'll call again and settle in for another hour of killer on hold music.
The status of the order showing it was shipped but you're just waiting for tracking#? Mine is still showing ship in December. Did you order with EPP too?
I never got an email confirmation of any kind bc their system was down. So when I log in to track it, it just says 'Shipping in December' with no more info. Nice and vague. Yeah I ordered with EPP.
