For those interested in stills too, seems that there is nothing in it noise wise between any of the new generation aps-c sensor, especially Canon 60d vs GH2, OK, may be subtle differences but ahead, I dont think so. Panasonic have really done the business with this sensor.

Some Japan GH2 owners could shoot some patterns with GH2 and 7d/5d/60d/550d to reveal moire and aliasing improvements on GH2, It would be very interesting
Yes, you're right.Would be more useful compared to the GH1 don't ya think? Moire is definitely going to be better than all the Canons no doubt, the GH1 already beats them in that category

I don't know.Stonebat - Was the embedded video to suggest that it wa captured via HDMI?
Hey, what do you expect from iso 3200? The gh1 doesn´t even have it. And take a look at native iso 1600 clips shot by the gh1 at similar conditions. - A japanese-style wedding in 60i: http://vimeo.com/16763866
Come on, guys, don't you read what Panasonic does? I really can't believe... Pansaonic is playing with ISO.Hey, what do you expect from iso 3200? The gh1 doesn´t even have it. And take a look at native iso 1600 clips shot by the gh1 at similar conditions

First it did with G2. In theory it had higher ISO available than G1. Simple cheating. I have both. ISO at one camera means different ISO on another. The trick is - in the same light conditions, G2 will use higher ISO than G1 and achieve the same exposure.
Now we already know - GH2 will do the same against GH1!

Simply, there is NO SENSE to compare ISO, without looking at aperture and shutter speed.
When all 3 parameters are exactly the same - "new" model will give underexposed picture, because "old" model was oversensitive, and "new" one is cheated.
Does it mean GH2 is bad camera or there is no improvement? No. But for sure it isn't as good as you believe just looking at ISO.
