2 batteries. Total weight with camera, grip and batteries is 633g.Sorry if I missed this, but didn't see it on the Ownuser site. How many batteries can it hold at a time?
Also what's the total weight - assuming 3 batteries is it about 11oz?
Hi all.
I am actually not quite sure if I posted here or on personalview on the subject of this grip.
But anywho... my last point was, as mentioned in this thread before, that the grip has no mean to stop or limit twisting the grip vs the GH2 (actually I am talking GH1 here, but it seems to not have improved).
Today I finally filed down the outer ridge on the top of the grip, after removing the not so good rubber thing on the top.
my GHs have a piece of grip tape (as on skate boards) on their bottoms, which is the best thing I´ve ever done. But my high hopes, that this damned battery grip would finally not move at all, didn´t come true. It´s better than ever before, yes. But full stop on twisting.....sadly still no no no.
I´d love some new ideas on that, especially with the GH2 in mind. I´ve tried various rubbers (amongst them some, that never failed me before), double-sided sticky tape, and now grip tape, which in every other case just rocks.
n8!
If like me you invested in adapters that have tripod mounts, they just about fit while using the grip. In the pic below is the Nikon adapter for example.
