GH2 battery $13.99 on Ebay

Keep it only for emergencies. In a couple of months you'll find $5 replacements that will have all Panasonic's features. I will never pay $70 for a battery

We are in agreement on all fronts here. It is hard to thinking kindly of people who profiteer in this Global melt down.

I am thinking of buying them...Is there anyother problem?

Absolutely no problems what so ever, no errors, no strange shut downs, All the data gets written to the cards. I have ordered a 2 more just for back ups, for $14 each you can't go wrong.

i bought a couple of these $13.99 batteries and they seem to work just fine. i haven't exhausted one of them as yet (just received them yesterday) so i don't know how they stack up against the factory battery in terms of performance and battery life. the one previously mentioned issue is that they don't report back battery status to the camera so you do not have that indicator. apart from that, they seem to be a no-brainer purchase for this camera as backup batteries.

It isn't. Look on Ebay. It arrived from Hong Kong in 7 days. I'll buy a few more because there are cheap and last just as long as the Panasonic battery.

Do you think 7 days is typical? It says estimated time is 20 to 30 days!

Hi Gagan,
Sent you a PM, pls check.

In India airmail is not realiable...wanted to get it send by a registered mail, which I could trace, but that option does not show up...contacted the seller, lets see.

Now the link shows bidding amount as 0.99$ and shipping 9$, changed it, it seems:)

DST seller is offering 24 months warranty, way more than the other guys. That seems to be a plus point.

Even if it was lifetime warranty I doubt anyone would bother to send it back for a replacement and pay $15 for shipping.

Thats true:) And there is no gaurantee you can trace him on Ebay after 2 years:)

DST guy is not answering queries, wonder why...Is he reading this thread:)

The Chinese and HK sellers cover their backsides by estimating 10 to 20 days, But I received it in 7 days.

I'll tell you this for free. When I buy stuff from US sellers unless they specify expedited service it can take between 5 to 25 days. Many US sellers stiff us on the posting. There is a different Ethos when it comes to business and customer satisfaction.

Do these show the indicator of how much battery is if of is it like the other clones ?

Not according to the site description:

"This is the DMW-BLC12 Rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery from Power-2000. It is a replacement for the Panasonic DMW-BLC12 battery. Small and lightweight, Lithium-ion batteries can be charged or discharged at any time without developing memory effects.

Important - Non-decoded - The camera will not display power info while using this battery."
