GH2 GH2 $500 @ amazon

man was tempted to buy one, its just the fact I dont want to have to invest in some more new glass >.< oh well I still have my T2I.

Wonderful. Except I'll wait until the GH3 is out on the final firmware and in the hands of users who can give us thorough user experience feedback in real world conditions. For two reasons. One, what if the GH3 is actually substantially superior to the GH2... at which point why not just buy the GH3? Yes, I know the GH2 can then be a terrific b-cam, but, then comes in point 2 - if indeed the GH3 is much better than the GH2, and even if the difference is like between the GH1 & GH2, then I suspect the price of the GH2 will come down more once the GH3 is out than right now. At that point the GH2 might even hit the same price point that the GH1 has - $300-$350. So unless one is in a huge hurry - and I'm not - I don't see why I should jump on a $500 deal, when I might be able to jump on a $400 deal instead. Besides, I think it's always wise to see exactly what it is that the next cam - the GH3 has to offer - before jumping in on GH2 "deals".

But then of course, it's entirely possible that the GH3 will be a huge disappointment, or merely a lateral move instead of an improvement, or at least not much of an improvement, at which point it would have been wiser to jump on the GH2 - but won't the GH2 still be available for awhile yet... you can still buy the GH1 if you really want to today, so why shouldn't you be able to buy the GH2, in say, March 2013? If however the GH2 supply dries up and the GH3 is a relative disappointment, then I guess I'll be a sad panda, but I'm gambling that the odds are in my favor. We shall see :)!

But it's so simple. All I have to do is divine it from what I know of you. Are you the sort of man who would put the poison into his own goblet or his enemies? Now, a clever man would put the poison into his own goblet because he would know that only a great fool would reach for what he was given. I am not a great fool so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you...But you must have known I was not a great fool; you would have counted on it, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of me.

The GH3 worst than the GH2? Inconceivable!

I'm having flashbacks to an episode of the new British Sherlock series, where a similar poison ampules dilemma was the final confrontation scene between Sherlock and a serial-killer cab driver: A Study In Pink

" He challenges Sherlock to solve his puzzle. They arrive at a school building, and the cabbie pulls out a gun and two bottles. He claims that one contains a harmless pill and the other a poisonous pill. Sherlock realises that the cabbie is dying, and calls his bluff on the gun, which is actually a novelty cigarette lighter. He walks off, but the cabbie challenges him again to choose a pill and see if he can solve the puzzle."
