If I thought what I had in the past was better, I wouldn't buy the new stuff. When I get the new stuff I test it. I like my old Sennheisers better than my new ones, and I like my new Schoeps better than my old ones. Hours of testing, and then my personal opinion in analyzing the results, which of course proves nothing--testing is subjective. I like my new GH2 for everything but panning fine detail, like small tree leaves which are in motion from a breeze. Personally, I see a difference in the panning of the GH13 just changing the bitrate and the GOP settings, so the GH13 is not a fixed, known constant, but rather a set of possibilities. The question is, is your test definitive, does it cover every type of scene? Well, if you think it is, then you need test no further, and that is where those of us who test every piece of gear are situated, a terminus ante quem. At some point, one moves on, with the realization that there may be more, or there may not. For me, the tree was enough to show there was a difference, for you perhaps the car is enough to show there is no difference. Certainly, looking at your video, they look similar. We tend to always think that what we have used in the past was "bette" for some reason. It's a natural thing (has to do with our brain always forgetting the negative parts), but not true.
