GH13, AVCHD, Final Cut Pro

Is it possible to run the AVCHD files straight from the GH13 to run natively (without conversion) on the FCP?
What method is recommended to transfer the files without losing the data and to ease the workflow on the FCP?

Thanks

Only way that worked for me in FCP is over Log and Transfer.
Secondly you can use Voltaic HD software for easy conversion into Apple Prores or other native FCP codec.
But AVCHD is natively in Adobe premier or After effects

Great. That was the answer I was looking for.
I do have the hackable GH13 but haven't done the hacking yet.
I'm asking this because I was wondering whether I need to buy the GH2 in order to run 24p and to make the file transfering easy to the application such as iMovie.

If I set the GH13 to run 24p native, will I be able to run AVCHD smoothly on all the FCP, FCE and the iMovie as well?

Also, should I expect any artifacts or bottleneck performance when running 24p mode on the GH13 than say other lesser quality modes?

Finally, what's the best recommended mode/setting to run on the FCP?

Thank you.

If you have hacked your cam to run 24p native, then you don't have to transcode the files at all.

This is not true. You must still transcode to work with Final Cut Pro, but you don't need to remove pulldown. 24PN mode also is somewhat unreliable.

You must transcode AVCHD to work with FCP. Step 1, log and transfer the footage to prores, step 2, remove the pulldown in compressor, step 3 reconnect the footage and edit.

Thanks for the tip.
If I decided to hack the GH1 into GH13, what would be the recommended settings for the FCP or the iMovie?
For example, is the AVCHD 24p always preferred over the motion jpeg or vise versa?

Just wondering how do you remove pulldown in compressor?
