GH1 with 20mm pancake lens focus problem

Hi, anyone know how to stop this lens from continuously focusing in movie mode. Even with AFS selected it still autofocuses. With AE/AF lock it still focuses. I thought AFS just set the focus as you part press the shutter and then locked it at that. It appears to continue to focus when recording. I don't want to use manual focus as my eyes aren't that great to see focus with this lens!

AFS doesnt exist in Movie mode, regardless of the dial setting...it defaults to AFC in movie mode...so it hunts, constantly. in other words, follow MR Fanny's advice.

This is how I have my menu set up and works for me. In custom menu, select AF/AE Lock to AF, next, select AF/AE Lock Hold to ON then exit the menu.

Press AE/AF lock right before filming and it will no longer auto focus while filming.

I'm PRAYING for AF-S while video recording in the GH2! That would be so awesome for my shooting style!!

In the meantime, I lock the focus with a half-press of the shutter release, then click the focus knob over to MF before recording....which less than ideal and doesn't work 50% of the time with the kit lens. However, the 20mm is cool in that you can put the knob in AF-S, lock with a half-press, and it will NOT release the focus while switching over to MF...like the kit lens will.
