GH1 Shipping Today! According to Panasonic Sales Rep

Now I am very annoyed with my June 4th order not going out till 6/29 and the Shoppatron guy categorically denying any possibility of people who ordered after me having their orders sent out first, and denying that Panasonic Direct and Shoppatron had order independent from one another.

I'm not sure I ever got a tracking number for mine. I can't recall but I think it just said "shipped" on the panny direct site and it said no tracking available, then two days later it just showed up.
 
my may 27th finally order shipped!! I chose free shipping, but i should get it by tomorrow or the next day.

Congrats to everyone who got theirs shipped today!

why do you say you'll get it tomorrow or the next day? i PAID for next day shipping and it says i'll get it the 28th haha, wtf?

that June 28th delivery date is bogus.
mine said the same thing when my order page finally changed.
its the UPS tracking info that you want to pay attention to.

Orchid, I meant to ask you what UPS charged you on the tax from Canada. I wish I had a UPS tracking number, but I'm hoping mine comes today.

Yeah, the date on the Panny order page is completely bogus. Mine shipped next day and the estimated arrival date was 3 days after that. I think they just put the maximum delivery time in there regardless of how you have it shipped.

Still no shipping confirmation for me. Anyone who ordered after June 10th from Panasonic direct have their order shipped?
 
Surely not mine. A real joke isn't it? Here it's listed as 'in stock' and yet people that ordered it awhile back still don't have it.
 
I GOT MY CAMERA!!! seriously! not even 12 hours between shipping out and on my doorstep!!!! INCREDIBLE! SO EXCITED!

Wow - that is really too bad about Amazon. I have an order in there as well. Time to head over to Panasonic Direct and pay 160 bucks more. Let's see what happens...

Are orders being fulfilled by Panasonic now only ones that had been placed a while ago, or are people getting them shipped with recent orders?
 
Has anyone who ordered yesterday from panny direct get word their camera is shipping or anything but status pending? I ordered yesterday and everything says pending and rep says call in a day or two. Yesterday they said it has to be approved by accounting because my shipping and billing address is different. I'm thinking to call my credit card to change my billing address on file to my shipping address and reordering today. Any thoughts? Has anyone who ordered yesterday actually receive good news?
 
I ordered one on June 12th from Panny, the last day it showed "estimated shipping: 3 weeks". Yesterday I placed a second order from them to see what happens. I have a feeling that my second order will ship first. No updates so far on any of the orders.
