Congrats Alex and thanks for the report. I have a shoot that came up last minute for the end of this week and I am scrambling to get the gear in pace. Having my camera tomorrow now seems strangely... possible.

Now some people actually get lied to that it is a legit place and even look up false reviews. It happened to me but I caught it in time when I saw that his company had the same address as the company I ordered from. I was fortunate to stop the order before it turned into a mess. So at the same time it was very helpful to see his post and I thank him for it. I'm now saved from a scam after a very close call. I hope it works out for you btw.
ALRIGHT! i knew that guy was all good. Give him good feedback on ebay. Did it come in a huge box? why does it weigh 10.5lbs?

it did come in a big box. the tripod is crap, the filters seem ok, good sdhc 8gb card, haven't tried the wide angle but it's not the greatest accessories but the camera is awesome. here's the kicker, it comes with a canadian and south american warranty. didn't find a us warranty in the paper work. battery just got done charging so i'm going out to mess with it.
What? That guy said US warranty. So is it Canadian model?

awww mannn what the helll.. i went the the panasonic site just to see when the gh1 was going to be back in stock it said that it was back ordered until september... O.0 i want this camera so badly but im not willing to buy it from grey market vendor. BUT I DONT WANT TO WAIT TILL SEPTEMBER!!! panasonic is beginning to piss me off alot
Did you change anything about your order since May 7th? If so, it reset your place in line.

I'm sorry to hear that RogerB1. I order May 6 and got mine a week and a half ago. I will feel for ya if they threw ya in the back of the line. Ridiculous.
Yeah, a little more detail about this would be appreciated. It's very exciting but I don't want to open mine if it's going to be some kind of grey market cam.

I just received notice that my May 7th pre-order with Amazon has just been shipped and my account was charged sometime last night. Been a long wait but its finally coming. I think a lot of people are going to start getting their cameras soon.
