Welcome to the boards. But you aren't the first to preach that and you won't be the last. We're all geeks here, and the geeks are what made RED come into fruition. We are a necessary evil.
Thanks for the welcome Kholi!
That might very well be true, but the question is, if we need all this new technologie (not everything that shines is gold). Technologie is undeniably an important part of our evolution, but in many regards it came to the point where it doesn't really serve us well anymore. This feeling of having to upgrade, to catch up all the time is definitely counterproductive and against our nature, at least for artists who should focus on their creativity. If we use technologie wisely though, while retaining a certain distance to it, then it can help us realize our visions or at least have some real fun. Ok, I should stop philosophizing now. What I actually wanted to say is that speculating about already designed stuff the way it's done here, has absolutely no purpose and nothing to do with product development in my opinion.
Give us a break androw we only just got these toys and they are all broken. if it wasn't for this place and the extensive product development of the members the DSLR's would be completely useless.
Hey Squig, there will always be something broken that needs fixing. It will be that way in 2 years and in 50 years from now. Users report and developers do what they can (or want). Repeating already known issues in a public forum is a waste of time. And limitation can be a good thing. Don't focus on the bad, but on the good and use the weaknesses to your advantage, if possible. That's all I have to say.
