I've posted in another thread that I'm starting to realise that what you get isn't necessarily what you see - it depends on how you see (play) it, so I'd recommend now taking my comments about stuttering and dropped frames with considerable caution (indeed, considerable caution is wisely advised by someone above).
Step one is perhaps to invest in the mini-HDMI lead that Panasonic don't put in the box (c'mon guys...) and connect that to a suitable display, then see what you get. I would have thought that under those conditions, if there's something wrong it would be hard to argue with. Under any other conditions, one has to indeed specify precisely what was done to replay the footage when the adverse result was experienced.
That's not to say there might not be some actual lemons out there. But there might also be others (like me) who have fallen for the temptation of posting before fully evaluating the possible problem. Mea culpa. And ThomasS, I'm not suggesting for a minute you in particular didn't do your homework - it does seem from all that's been said that yours was a genuine lemon.
