I'd like to purchase a GH1 with kit lens that's already been successfully hacked OR came new with the 1.2 version firmware.

I'm willing to pay slightly above BRAND NEW PRICE, meaning I'll pay $1,179 for your used GH1, including shipping.

Camera has to be in mint condition, and come with original box, manuals, cables, etc.

PLEASE PM ME ASAP.

I ordered my GH1 from B&H on Friday, and yesterday I find out that the hack doesn't work with the newer cameras.

This basically renders my camera useless for me, so I want to buy one that I actually want, meaning one that actually works with the hack.

the GH1 was never useless...there's a slew of films made with it pre-hack that are worthy of some sort of award....but i know what you mean. the grass is definately greener.

I started a thread a few days ago, same as Diego - I apologize for adding to yours. I would also like to purchase a USA Version 1.2 GH1 w/14-140mm Kit Lens in order to hack it. Also, like Diego, I'd even prefer if the person has already successfully hacked it as long as the body and lens (scratch free) are in great condition. PM me if anybody has this available for purchase. Thanks.

Im not trying to make anything about asking this question, but is it a proven fact that the new factory Gh1's cant be hacked ?

relax or you'll just be losing your own money for nothing

In a certain way, Vitaliy is right. There's some hysteria around the subject matter. The firmware of new units has been launched before they could even know about hack's success or Vitaliy could work out on his hack towards the 1.34 firmware version.

So, chill out a little bit and let the dust settles down. You'll have the hack working on the newest version. It is only a matter of time.

It speaks someone 20 years later since the first camera purchase. It costed US $3250 then, that is, 20 years ago. So go figure!

Moreover, as far as I know, the most part of US stock is still old stock. So, you'll be fine anyway.
