GH1 and GF1 valid serial range

This information does not make sense. First firmware in v.1.3 series (v.1.31) was not available until March 2010 IIRC.
[Edit] Also, the 3 digit in the serial number usually represents the year of manufacture, so most likely it is 9 not S (look how close those characters are). So somebody updated the firmware on this camera after it left the factory.

Just a note: FV0FC1012##, which falls in between the prev range b/w work and not, does NOT work (ver. 1.24)
Happier news: wolfes's camera is selling GF1 at $600 on eBay, and they said all their current stock starts with FV0CB10##. I just ordered one; it should work!

There is no offical Panasonic firmware released of a Ver. 1.33
The last offical Panasonic firmware release is Ver. 1.32
This means that this 1.33 is probably a hacked Ver, and may not work. As such, PTool should not support an unofficial, non Panasonic firmeware.
There is no offical Panasonic firmware because Panasonic don't want that will be hack.
1.33 placed on official Panasonic site with logon and password. May be Vitaliy look at that ver. of Firmaware.

will I be able to hack my GF1? (serial number is FV0FC101445) falls between the two serial numbers below (one worked, one didn't). The previous owner hacked this and changed the language from japanese to english but dont have the video features.
Does it mean I can it for video features? thanks

I didn't hold out much hope that this serial would have the older firmware but it does.
WE0FD001125. Bought yesterday in Currys with the 14-140 lens. Firmware shows 1.32.

I just bought a BRAND NEW GH1K (w. 14-400 Vario Lens) at Henry's in Canada on a boxing day sale for $999 (http://boxingday.redflagdeals.com/index.php/flyers2010/image_full/1579/) and it has serial number WE0BD...!! Can't believe my luck! Still have not attempted hack yet, but will let the list know ASAP. Brand new hackable GH1 kit for under $1000!! 
I understand that my GH1 cannot be hacked, but I hope to receive comments and suggestions.

Serial number: WE0GD00....
VERSION DISP (Body Firmware) = 1.3
CAMERA INFO (after the long procedure) = 1.34
So, I guess it was produced in July 2010, and the Tester13 hack will not work.
Isn't there any way to increase AVCHD 1080p bitrate to 20 or 25 Mbps? That's all I would like to achieve.
I see that current bitrate is less than 14 Mbps!
I calculate it from the mts file size in Mbytes, multiplied by 8 (Mbits), divided by the duration in seconds.
The result for dozens of mts files is nearly the same, that is around 13 or 13.5 Mbps, regardless of how the video is (steady or with a lot of motion).
Any suggestion? Is there anything I can do? (Apart from buying a GH2)
