I have a GH1, and i want to use my Nikon 50mm ƒ/1.4, and my Nikon 28mm ƒ/3.5 on my GH1. I know there are a lot of adapters out there, and I am looking around. Are there any adapters that any of you have used that would suit a Nikon 50 and 28? Thanks.

Ciecio7 adapter on ebay...if they're DX lenses you'll need the adapter with the bolt for the aperture ring.

Really worth buying the new Nikon from Ciecio. Excellent built and the bolt will make it future proof for using third party or Nikon DX lenses.
Also, it seems that all his adapters have a 37mm thread at the back, so you can put there a gel filter too.

The Novoflex adapter can also handle DX lenses, but it's rather expensive although of very good quality.

I just tried attaching a 37mm thread in the back and it was too big.

Can someone here please point me to a link on Ebay to the Cieceo adapters?.....all searches in ebay have come up empty using that name.

Also, has anybody here had issues with getting anything from China because of their recent national holiday? I ordered a micro 4/3 adapter and an introvalometer on Sept 21st and both have not arrived yet.

I ordered a 'ciecio' FD adapter the same day as another one from China: delivery to Australia. The 'ciecio' arrived faster, with tracking number... the works... while the other one was on a 'slow boat from China' as they say.
Eventually, it turned up.

hmm I've been having a problem with my adapter. When I change my settings to shoot without lens it works and i could see bright white when the lens aren't on. But when I attach my canon fd 50mm 1.4 with an adapter it keeps saying the lens is not attached properly. Again when i take it off the message disappears and the camera works again. Whats going on?

Same thing, when i turn it off, attach my lens, and turn it back on, it takes a few seconds but the same message pops up. I don't own cieco 7 adapters but I'm pretty sure no adapters should have problems like this. I think the adapter is either made of brass or aluminum.

hmm...i used to get the same message, but only when doing extra long exposures in stills mode, was never sure why....

i'm not exactly sure why your camera is giving you that message...hopefully other users can chime in...

I have seen the same thing- randomly happens- when switching lenses a lot.

First off- don't switch out lenses with cam turned on.

I know this sounds sketchy but, if you give the adapter, (with lens attached), a slight shift back and forth- like your trying to screw it on tighter and looser- carefully of course- sometimes does the trick-
also- try hitting your green PLAY button, (to go into play/review mode) and switching back and forth from live/standby mode to PLAY mode- sometimes works too.
Ultimately, I believe it has something to do with the locking mechanism, (which is part of the lens release button)- I think some of the adapters the hole in which the locking mechanism goes into isn't big/burrowed out enough.
