GH-1 GH-13 Fixed Pattern Noise: Breakthrough?

guys sorry to say but u r getting clean footage at the expense of shutter speed. just move something in scene n u will c the blurry motion. to me the only difference made is ISO. jus keep it on 100 n never touch it again. n adjust lighting , focal stops etc to make the scene look bright or even adjust some levels afterwards in post.
ISO 3200 even 640 is not gonna work or give any clean footage. sorry but thats true. u r getting one thing right at the cost of other. also use full hd mode n motion jpeg hd mode for cleanest footage while using 100mb patch.
hope it helps.

Is Ane one still using Emory 's tricks shown in first post? Do you agree with last comment by waquart in last page?

I've found shooting in video mode in Shutter Priority with ISO on auto still allows you to use up to 3200 ISO in video, so that's what I do (combined with noise-reducing film modes) when the light gets super low. Using shutter priority allows you to keep the shutter speed at 1/50 or 1/60 to reduce the blurry motion waqarch was talking about.

I agree with CColton on this. In this way you get the best of both worlds. Good low light with filmic shutter speeds.

I tested all the modes: I think shutter speed is not stable! Very difficult to nail down shutter speed at 50! Is there any way; auto iso with compensation by fixing shutter speed 50?

Were you shooting in Creative Movie Mode?

Misleading! To be locked but changing the shutter speed for light-balancing. Creative mode and other modes :(

Thanks CColton. 1/50 speed on all settings misleading and variable. I think the increase of light, changes the shutter speed! I will shoot a new test movie.

Set the dial on your GH1 to the Creative Movie Mode icon. In the camera's Quick Menu, set the Exposure Mode to "S" (shutter priority). Set ISO to Auto. Do not use any of the still photo modes, only Creative Movie Mode When you record, the camera will keep the shutter speed to whatever you set it as (1/50 recommended). It will adjust ISO automatically and allow you to use up to 3200ISO.

Awesome.

The above explanation worked better for me too (just giving some helpful feedback)!

Thanks again
