C100: Getting more metadata from C100 II to show in FCPX

I'm using a C100 II and am trying to figure out how to get specific metadata from a clip into FCPX. Using INFO in the Inspector I get some of the data but some bits I want are missing. Details like camera name, ISO, exposure data and lens info don't seem to be there. There are fields for some of these in the Extended view but they are blank.

Is this something I'm missing in FCPX or is the camera not recording that data? If it's the latter does anyone know how I could get the camera to record this data? I've spent considerable time with the manual and can't see how to add to the data recorded.

Just in case anyone is searching, I'm pretty sure this is only for codecs that record this data. I don't think either AVCHD or MP4 captures this info.

I am not sure about the C100 Mk2 , however I have noticed that FCPX was not displaying most metadata from the C300 Mk2 in 10.2.3. THis might have changed with 10.3 and I would need to check that. It seems like with the switch of the codec from the MPEG 2 codec in the MK 1 to xavc in the Mk2 something went adrift and most of the camera metadata was not being picked up by X.
I know this is not much help for your question , I'm just acknowledging there have been problems with Canon camera metadata in X.

Metadata in 10.3.1 is extensive for C300MKII, just remember that there is the drop down menu/options on the bottom left corner of the info window including the settings option that gives you the ability to immediately process log footage without having to use any third part plug ins.

Awesome. This post was perfect timing. Was tracking down how to do this very thing. Look forward to the sure to come future update that will add Canon Log 3 to the drop down. All the same, thanks for saving me time finding the metadata.

Yeah, hanging out for Log 3 to be added.
