I was at a couple's 50th aniversary. And they are still in love. He said as a young farmer "I love you like a hog loves slop". Quite a unique way of putting it lol
Marriage is work, but its also a journey, and having a good wife sticking by you through thick and thin makes each year sweeter and sweeter. They traded my frighten'd lil boy card in for a "man card" on the marriage certificate.
