hey guys,

i gad a question, which is not easy for me to translate into english:

i gad the tamron 17-50mm 2.8, and the area, where the picture is sharp is always very small, i am not talking about the middle of the glass or staff, i mean, when i am making a photo of a ruler, there will be an area of sharpness, about 1 cm.
how can i get a bigger sharp area? which glass do i need?

because when i am shoting video, and people and stuff is moving, shacking, what ever, it always gets out of focus.
i love the dof, but a bit less in some shots would be great :)

where is the solution?

best wishes

Close down the aperture.

Try using f/8 for example.

Also the depth of field will be deeper at 17mm than 55mm.

Guten Abend,

I have the same problem. You need more light. I assume you're in Germany, Foto Walser has great cool lights at great prices.
