What recording mode do you recommend for interview and conference type settings.
I am using AVCHD 24 Mbps. Should I use 24Mbps LPCM.
I want my format footage to match that of the HMC150.
I think 28 Mbps would be over kill, and not sure what 17 Mbps would look like.
And second, for some odd reason when I am editing in Vegas, the G30 footage seems to be a sort of a hog. It really slows down my rendering. I am using 2 sets of footage from the HMC150 and G30 and mixing them. I mixed the HMC150 and Vixia before and no problem.
I wonder if switching from AVCHD to MP4 would be better. Would I loose any quality if I filmed in MP4 24 MBPS?
I also wonder if I should switch over to Adobe Premiere, with vegas giving me rendering errors.
Thank you for any comments.
For anyone using the automatic settings to do interviews on the G30, I would suggest no. I see changes in lighting over time. It is better to set it up with manual settings. And set your own WB.
