Wow, that is crazy. Kind of changes the dynamic. If one leans towards video this would be a great choice over a mirrorless unless you needed gimbal. But why not get both? Go for a cheaper mirrorless.

Good one! Keep us posted. BTW with the B4 setup you can get a remote focus unit to go on the lens. Allowing you full manual focus from a remote position. Canon's 1.5 x optic is only engaged if you need to cover a FF sensor. It's not remotely controlled. Though you could use it as a 50% mag while shooting S35. Though generally speaking in my experience if you are shooting with a wide zoom and need the width on a crane or jib it's very rare you would need a 1.5 or 2 x doubler. Also bear in mind engaging the 1.5 x means a 1.5 stop light loss. Which in low light concert and stage shoots can be a setback.Chris ..
No mention of how canon control that lens.. or if the 1.5x can be remotely engaged.
Juat more evidence that the 'consumer' 24-105 2.8 and zoom solution are going the way of the 18-80 canon ef
And the app is not ready for the real world

Re your 2/3 lens setup, it is manuial focus.. but more evidence that making a work ready setup need to be a 'cludge' and a very nice one
