FS700 gimbal?

Hey guys, what gimbal do you use with long fs700? Can Ronin (original version, not M) handle fs700 without extension arms? Or any other opinions? Still using fs700 with recorder..:)
 
I had success using the FS700 with the original DJI Ronin and the Sony E 10-18mm f/4 OSS lens without the extension arms.

Just a word of caution if you plan to buy the DJI extension arms: The original Ronin's logic board is glued stuck to the cover you take off to access it, so it is definitively not user-upgradeable. I had to pay for the mistake of thinking DJI would allow you to DIY. :angry:
 
You can use it with a small/light lens and perhaps some counter weights at the back (on the bottom of the FS700 there are screw holes).
I bought some arm extensions but have rarely used the Ronin since it becomes quite heavy and I also have a steadicam-type stabilizer which works much better for heavier cameras and also gives more control even though it of course is much more difficult to use in some ways since steadicam operating requires a lot of training.
I still haven't tried putting my Varicam LT on the Ronin, but I might do it soon just to see if it's possible.
 
Use the best gimbal: Hélix magnesium! from Letus: i used it since severals years with FS100 FS7 and A7RII that run very well.
