I choosed Slog3 CineEI 800 to shoot my first video clip in low light situation. I hesitated between HG curves but finally, i find FS7 Slog3 cineEI@800iso isn't bad at all.

Lense on first FS7 was Zeiss Batis 25mm@2.0 on Helix letus Mg gimbal (in AF mode) total weight:4.9Kg with smallHD501, on second FS7 lense was Tamron vc45mm stabilized with speedboster ultra @1.4.
Grading: Luts are 80%KojiColor and 20%Kodac2383 and i have added noise (renoiser).

Nice to see S-Log 3 is workable in low light with fast lenses and if graded down, can mask most noise. Do you use the FS7 noise suppression setting too? I lean toward Slog 3 for low light and Slog 2 for bright.

Thank you Liam for your positives feedback, i did not make any test before shooting because it was last minute job but i don't regrett because i prefer grade Slog3 CineEI more than HG and i'm not disapointed.

Hi Karma17, i followed Alister Chapman setting over expose +1 for clean shadows and as you said graded down. I diseable camera noise reduction and i did not use denoise in editing job just add some noise with renoiser.

Hi Clermond, thank you for your positive comment. Maybe the clip may seem a bit long sometimes, caused by artistic choice, rhythm or at worst do not have other rushes to better tell a story.

Fine example of what can be done with the oft maligned Fs7. You drifted from the norm and it paid off. Beautifully shot and directed. Didn't understand a thing but it was a joy to watch. And happy you shared your formula. Nice choice of CineEI and bold of you to decide to rate at 800. Not sure I've seen that before, at least not knowingly.
And as far as being too long, how does one judge how long it takes to tell a story?

Thank you allenfacemire for your comments, it would have been easier for you to understand if the song was written in English:D
Maybe Clermond only wanted to say that he would prefer more rhythm, it's good to have his feeling, that's why I shared it, it's quiet.

Thanks Clermont, the shots at the beginning were hard to keep clean by the fact that light was very contrasty (sky/vegetation) another thing i noticed sometime is the strange contraste/saturation in orange color when it is overexposed.

All in all Rudo very creditable, Good indeed. I like you are using EI 800. This is favorite mode on the FS7.

hi Chris thank for your feedback, effectively since i tried cineEI @800iso several years ago i never change my way of shooting, even in low light condition because i prefer this rendering.
